Throughout term two, students will develop their understanding of the following concepts through participation in various dance experiences.

- Body-making movements, actions, or shapes using various body parts
- Space-levels, pathways, directions, size of movement, proximity to other dancers, group formations
- Time-freeze, tempo (slow, sustained, fast), with/without music
- Energy-quality ( smoothly, erratically), action versus inaction, fluidity (glide, sink, fall)
- Relationship-dancers to objects, large and small groupings, follow/lead, emotional connections between dancers
